Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VyoraShare handles information when you use the VyoraShare mobile and Android TV applications.
1. How VyoraShare works
VyoraShare is designed to help users pair supported devices and transfer selected files over a local network. File contents selected for transfer are intended to be sent directly between the participating devices and are not uploaded by VyoraShare to a VyoraShare-operated cloud storage service.
2. Information and device access
Depending on your device, Android version and the feature you use, the app may request or use access needed to select/read files you choose, scan a pairing QR code using the camera, discover or communicate with devices on the local network, maintain an active transfer, and show transfer notifications. Access is used for the relevant app feature.
3. Files you choose to transfer
VyoraShare processes the files and associated information needed to perform the transfer you initiate, such as file name, size, type and transfer progress. The receiving device receives the files you choose to send.
4. Camera
Camera access is used for QR-code scanning when you choose the scan feature. VyoraShare does not require the camera for ordinary file browsing.
5. Local network and device information
To pair devices and perform transfers, the app may process local-network connection information and basic device/session information needed to identify a peer, establish a connection and manage a transfer.
6. Advertising
The mobile version may display third-party advertising. Advertising providers may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, diagnostics, interactions or other data as described by the provider and subject to your consent choices and applicable law. VyoraShare does not control a third-party provider's independent data practices.
7. Diagnostics
App stores, operating systems, advertising services or other integrated platform services may process diagnostics or technical information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Data retention
Local transfer history or app preferences may remain on your device until cleared by the app, operating system, or by uninstalling the app, depending on the feature and build. A recipient's copy of a transferred file is controlled by that recipient/device.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to a local file-transfer application. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Only pair with devices you trust and review files before sending.
10. Children's privacy
VyoraShare is a general-purpose file-sharing utility and is not directed specifically to children. Where applicable, users should use the app in accordance with local age and consent requirements.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when app features, legal requirements, or integrated services change. The effective date above will be updated when this page is revised.
